CHRIS OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE PARNHAM BROTHERS’ LADDER

Chris Parnham’s Passages Handicap triumph aboard Amasenus was his 721st win and lifted him off the bottom of the Parnham brothers’ ladder for Australian victories for the first time in their respective careers.

On Saturday at Ascot, Chris Parnham (721 Australian wins) overtook Brad Parnham (720), and it is likely only a matter of time before the youngest Parnham brother goes past the senior of three siblings, Steven (762). This season, Chris Parnham has broken his Group One duck, partnering ill-fated galloper Truly Great to Kingston Town Classic glory, and racked up 87 metropolitan victories out of 131 overall.
