FIVE-STAR KAH’S FIRST VICTORIAN QUINTUPLE

Jamie Kah’s Caulfield nap hand was her first Victorian quintuple and moved the state’s metropolitan champion jockey-elect five victories closer to becoming the first rider to post 100 Victorian city wins in a single season.

Kah was triumphant aboard Caulfield victors Generation, Excelman, Pintoff, Streetcar Stranger and uber-impressive unbeaten three-year-old gelding Ayrton to lift her Victorian metropolitan win tally to 86 as she closes in on Brett Prebble’s record of 99 and a half he set 21 years ago.

Kah, who is nearing 1,000 career victories around the world – she had celebrated wins in not only Australia but also Singapore – has ridden three five-timers, with her previous quintuples occurring at Port Lincoln on Friday 3 March 2017 and Morphettville Parks on Saturday 25 November 2017.
