Three senior jockeys with starkly different win rates aboard Simon Miller-trained gallopers will ride for the Ascot-based trainer on Ted van Heemst Stakes Day, and particularly one will be hoping to improve his numbers.
Brad Parnham has registered just two victories from his 46 assignments on the back of Miller-prepared runners, and one of those triumphs occurred aboard Northam Cup champion Dance Music, which he will steer in the Starstruck Classic before partnering Sophie’s Song in the PikeSaysThanksWA Handicap.
Brad’s brother, Chris Parnham, has won 30 of his 161 rides for Miller at a win rate of 18.63 per cent, and he will team up with American Choice in the Black Diamond, while Keep Your Feet’s jockey, William Pike, is 55 from 170 at 32.35% in combination with Western Australia’s King of the Kids.
